about
Can you feel the demise? The distance.
Pushed apart now we’re picking sides.
Our words become a plea when the absurd become obscene.
Say this isn’t real.
It’s gotten colder; the turn of my neighbour’s shoulder.
The heartstrings are wearing thin.
I’ve asked too much of every friend.
Where do we go from here, when all we know is fear?
As compassion subsides.
We’re fearful and restless.
These lies. They bring the end.
They’re the death of us.
Say this isn’t real.
It’s gotten colder; the turn of my neighbour’s shoulder.
The heartstrings are wearing thin.
I’ve asked too much of every friend.
Where do we go from here, when all we know is fear?
The sinking teeth are pulling apart our skin.
They push past the surface, now we separate within.
We’re forgetting the feeling of body heat.
The warmth in connection.
Say it isn’t real.
It’s gotten colder; the turn of my neighbour’s shoulder.
The heartstrings are wearing thin.
I’ve asked too much of every friend.
Where do we go from here, when all we know is fear?
This one really goes deep. Tremendously heavy and bleak, yet crushingly groovy as well. You can easily see these guys destroying any venue they'd hit live with this. The heavy hitting slow to mid-tempo tunes are sort of tranceinducing. It's very easy to listen to it multiple times in a row or even get lost in it totally. mourner
"I would've loved to hear both bands collaborate to do the heaviest music that they can do, considering how well it would've fit the dark title, but this is what I never knew I wanted to hear."
