lyrics
Stay away from me.
If we’re the company we keep, then you’re nothing to me.
Does that make any sense?
Or do I need to cut closer to the bone to make you understand?
That every word they’re saying is calculated and planned.
Stay away.
I won’t hold guilt in my associations.
Break away.
I swapped desire for desperation.
Or do I need to push further away to finally fucking realise?
That these relationships are full of cowardice and lies.
Push. Pull.
We forget their flaws so readily.
The distraction is a subtle type of weaponry.
We push. We push.
Our hearts; consumed.
I lost my balance.
I slipped my own mind.
I lost sight of the self I was trying to find.
A blade in the back. The conscience they lack.
Moulding the acts of those in line to attack.
Overwhelmed again. Enemies closer than friends.
Push. Pull.

Been loving this record for some time now and had to get it digital too. C'mon, go try 2 find more dynamic 4-song album than this beast. Incredible range of emotions and shapeshifting. This is like Mastodon, Deafheaven and Pallbearer all compressed into one tight package but ain't no copycat because it has a vivid, graceful soul of it's own. Magnificent album. I adore you.
