Swarm 03:47
Divide and conquer. Damned if you do and if you don’t pay attention, They’ll pick apart the meaning behind your sentiment. Until you sacrifice your beliefs and good intentions. Oh god, he opened the door and we all know that he listened. A forced hand among the swarm. Taking pleasure in the pain they’re causing. In this turmoil there’s a fate that’s chasing him. Now it manifests. How we lost our grip. The divide of our culture. Surround the accused, sound the alarm, pay attention and watch as they suffer. Let the truth in history find a way of shining through the mystery. Oh god, he opened the door and we all know that he listened. A forced hand among the swarm. Taking pleasure in the pain they’re causing. In this turmoil there’s a fate that’s chasing him. Now it manifests. How we lost our grip. They turn the civil to a savage. They say what he needs to hear. So persuasive and insincere. Do they feel the eyes of the outside looking in? Because they’re looking in.

We lost the majesty. There was a world that smiled at me. Far from the afterthought of any before. We lost the majesty. I can’t just wait in anticipation. Now I’m expected to be void of a saviour. I’ve never known a feeling like this. Internal winter. The cold world within us. It took a moment to take that life away. A life that lives on in our memory. I watched you leave that body behind. I saw time sacrifice your mind, so I turned away. But that’s not to say that I wasn’t aware or I didn’t care. It’s just the way I avoided despair and it’s nightmares. Love left with the light, now I’m sick of the night. There was a world that smiled at me. But that world disappeared in the space of a few years. Love left with the light, now I’m sick of the night. I’ve never been so stuck inside me. Internal winter. The cold world within us. It took a moment to take that life away. A life that lives on in our memory. I watched you leave that body behind. I saw time sacrifice your mind, so I turned away. To seek calm in the storm, is not to stop it entirely. If the worst is ignored, you’ll be shocked by the sight of it.
3.
Like A Wave 03:59
Stand like a wave, ready to crash. I’m slipping. Save my blood. Cold blood. I feel the scales of justice are tipping. Save my blood. Cold blood. For them. Waiting for consequence. (To catch up like the last time.) Aiming for consciousness. (To last me a lifetime.) Retrace those lines in the sand. So that the boundaries are clear. Well now I know where I stand. There’s not a secret to keep here. Like a wave. The surge. The drop. You can call it a journey or you can call it home. Waiting for consequence. (To catch up like the last time.) Aiming for consciousness. (To last me a lifetime.) I’m sure I’ve been here before, but never needed the guidance. The days resemble a spiral, when they’ve been spent on avoidance. Time turns feeling to a fact and it’s giving my cold blood some heat.
4.
Inertia 04:53
Inertia is torture. I know the risks but it feels like it’s tangible; To think the unthinkable. Call it a breakthrough. I feel like I’m coming to. I’ve started to hear the voices. “You’ll waste away under all that pressure, that weight.” It takes hold, but you’re only human. I’ve felt this hell. I’ve watched it breed. I’ve known it to burn inside of me. I heard the news. Noticed the change in a life so full of colour. But now I only see the blues. Burn the books, I lost faith so long ago. Now my reality’s my king. Success in the common man was never a part of the bigger plan. No point of focus, much less a compass. You’re lost. You’ve lost your role. So you learn the ropes to feel like you’re in control. You’re just a puppet, pulling strings. I’ve felt this hell. I’ve watched it breed. I’ve known it to burn inside of me. I heard the news. Noticed the change in a life so full of colour. But now I only see the blues. Become so numb to your choices? I refuse. Inertia is torture.

Coalesce 06:04
With the mind’s eye open wide, the feeling will become the sight. Wake up. To push the blame is not enough. Are we coping or just hoping for more? Are we making the right choices? Or are we showing our sensibilities the door? The death of that ego brings life to a patient ghost. We welcome utopia, realised in comatose. If we choose to move from the archetypal history of discord of the body and soul. The advantages will find us all. Welcome the reason. Like the sun in any season. Be aware of the breeze that greets you. Is it air from the lungs of evil? We’re unable to process or come to terms with, The world we’ll face if we come to the surface. The death of that ego brings life to a patient ghost. We welcome utopia, realised in comatose. Wake up. To push the blame is not enough We’re unable to process or come to terms with, The world we’ll face if we come to the surface. With the mind’s eye open wide.

Clockwork 03:59
I’ve slowed down. My focus tracing a lifeline. There’s no sound. Am I drifting? So what happens now? I’m losing strength at the waistline. I feel the void, but I still don’t know what I’m missing. I’m back again. Sometimes I fear I’ll never leave. If hope is being able to breathe underwater. Then take it in, because sinking is torture. Oh clarity, I was so blissful and unaware. You’re so much like the dawn, in your salvation. That you don’t stay with me. So I’m left chasing. Keep breathing. You’ll find that sigh of relief. Let it out. It won’t last that long. Suffering is human. Your outcome evolves.
10.
I couldn’t be the hopeless helping. And now I know. That I didn’t feel it overcome me. The shadow. When you said my name. It’s not somewhere you’d expect to be. Held captive. I’ll leave that feeling far behind me, as I grow. The regret you’d expect when you curse my name. Now I’m numb to the words. Lost touch with every sentence. It’s not somewhere you’d expect to be. Held captive. An afterthought for everything. Until you walk away. A lover, a shadow. Without even knowing it. The passing of time had its own way of showing me. A lover, a shadow.
